Creative Colored Pencil Course

Have you ever wanted to learn how to create beautiful art with colored pencils? Were you intimidated by the choices available or overwhelmed by the time it would take to learn? Were you afraid that you couldn't draw well enough to explore this medium? I'm here to put those fears to rest and teach you how fun, forgiving, and rewarding colored pencils can be!

Don't worry if you are new to the medium, I will show you all the techniques you will need to create gorgeous artwork. You won't be bewildered, I break down the lessons into bite-size chunks so it's easy to learn. Then in the full painting tutorials, we will repeat and reenforse those techniques so they become second nature. I'm not simply teaching you how to paint the paintings in the class, I'm teaching you to paint with colored pencils so you can go forth and paint whatever you want after you complete the class!

If you are nervous about drawing, don't be. I will draw along with you step-by-step and I will also provide a printable pattern you can trace if you prefer. I know we all learn differently and I will meet you where you are at. I believe that anyone can learn how to draw and once you see how we break it down you will be excited to try!

Do you have colored pencils gathering dust that you desperately want to use? Great! This is a "Use what you have!" class meaning that you can use whatever pencils you prefer. No pencils yet? No problem! I have created a list of my recommendations to get you started right!

Speaking of supplies I think the more the merrier! We will use mixed media techniques to save time and maximize the utility of all of our supplies!
