Welcome to the wonderful world of watercolor crayons! In this class, I will show you how to transform the humble set of 30 (honestly you can get by with the 15 set) Caran d'Ache watercolor crayons into charming works of art! I will share tips and tricks for getting the most out of your supplies so you can make the most of your supply investment!
I will walk you through each project step-by-step and in real-time so you can really see how to use this medium. Each of the eight projects is broken down into bite-size chunks so they are not overwhelming and you can fit them into your busy schedule. There is never a need to rush in my courses because you get lifetime access to all the lessons which means you can review a class as many times as you want for as long as you want.
The recommended materials are simple and affordable. I recommend a set of 15 or 30 Caran d'Ache Neocolor 2 water-soluble crayons, watercolor paper, and toned pastel paper like Strathmore Art Again. If you already have another brand of watercolor crayons or water-soluble oil pastel I encourage you to try them first before buying more supplies because these techniques will work with those products too. You might get slightly different effects but you will learn to get more out of them. I always recommend using what you have first!
When you are done with this course you will have a comprehensive understanding of watercolor crayon and you will be able to tackle any subject you desire on your own! I hope you will join me on this watercolor crayon journey!
